Monolith similar to one in Utah USA showed up at ancient Romanian fortress
The Romanian county of Neamt recorded an uncanny presence in the form a metal monolith similar to the one in US state of Utah. On 18 November, a mysterious metal monolith appeared in a Utah desert. On 27 November, another similar structure was photographed in Neamt county. Both have not been authorized for construction, there is no knowledge where the monoliths came from nor who put them there, writes Christian Gherasim.
US officials assured the public that the 3.6-metre-high structure was not extraterrestrial and announced that several people who arrived at the scene had removed the object that had not been claimed by any artist.
Soon after this happening, the similar monolith which appeared in northern Romania has also been removed. The metal structure seen near Piatra Neamt captured the imagination of many. Several people have posted pictures on social networks with this.
The construction also gave way to various speculation and but official explanation has been given by authorities as to who put it there and who removed it soon after.
Rocsana Josanu, from the Neamt County Department of Culture, said that an investigation has been started regarding its appearance. "It is on private property, but we still do not know who the monolith belongs to. It is in a protected area of an archeological site. Before something can be installed there, the permission of our institution is required, which must be approved by the Ministry of Culture. she said.
On Romania's National Day, the metal monolith on Bâtca Doamnei, Piatra Neamţ was no longer in the place where it was discovered, local outlets reported.
