Implementation dialogue on industry priorities on the path to EU defence readiness with High Representative and Vice-President Kaja Kallas
The High Representative of the Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy and Vice-President of the European Commission (HR/VP) Kaja Kallas (pictured) will hold an implementation dialogue on 28 January 2026.
In line with the mission letter of President Von der Leyen, HR/VP Kallas will organize an implementation dialogue titled “Industry priorities on the path to EU defence readiness” with selected defence industry representatives on 28 January 2026 in Brussels.
This Implementation Dialogue will facilitate direct interactions between defence industry representatives and HRVP Kallas. Participating defence industry representatives will be invited to share their assessments on implementation challenges, obstacles, bottlenecks and structural constraints, as well as opportunities, best practices and possible solutions to ensure the ramp up of EU defence production capacity to scale-up the defence capabilities that member states urgently need.
