Cameron asked to explain renegotiation plans before MEPs in Strasbourg
Martin Schulz is to contact UK Prime Minister David Cameron and ask him to explain renegotiation plans before MEPs in Strasbourg. After coming out of the Conference of Presidents meeting in the European Parliament on 3 September, UKIP leader Nigel Farage (pictured) who attended said: "I am very pleased that the Conference of Presidents are keen to hear Mr Cameron's proposals, as indeed are the British public and I."
Nigel Farage attended the meeting and voted in favour on the invitation.
