The second call for applications of the EU Diplomatic Programme for the Enlargement Region is open

Following the successful launch of the European Union Diplomatic Programme for the Enlargement Region earlier this year, the College of Europe published on 15 April a new call for applications for the second edition of the programme, which is expected to run from 31 August 2025 until 31 January 2026.

This programme, funded by the Directorate-General for Enlargement and Eastern Neighbourhood (DG ENEST) and implemented by the College of Europe, has the overall objective to foster regional cooperation among junior diplomats and/or officials of the enlargement region and their EU peers by creating a unified ‘esprit de corps’ and strengthening their knowledge in EU affairs. The curriculum includes joint activities with the EU Diplomatic Academy, supported by the EEAS.

The call is especially tailored towards junior diplomats and/or officials working in the field of foreign policy and EU accession from AlbaniaBosnia and HerzegovinaGeorgiaKosovothe Republic of MoldovaMontenegroNorth MacedoniaSerbiaUkraine and Türkiye.

Interested candidates are invited to apply by 15 June 2025 (18:00 CET).
