MEPs debate EU summit agreement on climate and energy targets

carbon_emissopns_quota_coal_power_station_creditvilleton_flickrMEPs, at a Conference of Presidents meeting, will debate the results of the 23-24 October EU Summit on climate and energy policies, the economic and employment situation and external relations with outgoing European Council President Herman Van Rompuy and European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker, on Tuesday (4 November) from 14h.

Following statements by European Council and Commission presidents, the leader of the European Parliament’s political groups will take the floor. This should be the last meeting with Van Rompuy before he steps down on 30 November.

The debate takes place on Tuesday from 14-15h30 in the József Antall building, room 2Q2. You can follow the meeting via EP Live and our Twitter account (#climate, #energy, #euco).
