agora_banSome 60 young people from the EU's 28 member states will gather in Brussels from Wednesday, 6 November to Friday, 8 November to discuss youth unemployment and make recommendations at the 2013 Citizens’ Agora event hosted by the European Parliament.

Young people have been selected from the 28 member states, in most cases two from each country – one in work and one without a job – through a questionnaire published on the websites of Parliament's information offices. The participants at the Agora will share their personal experiences of job-hunting - what helped them and what made it difficult - and of education. They will then present their findings and recommendations.
President and Vice-President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz and Isabelle Durant will open the meeting and hold a joint press point at 13.45 in the President’s office (9th floor). The Agora will be chaired by Martin Hirsch, former French High Commissioner for Active Solidarity against Poverty and current President of the French Civic Service Agency.
