Box Your EP: Discover the European Parliament's first ever tablet app
From Facebook to Foursquare, the European Parliament can already be found in many different places. This now also includes your very own tablet with the creation of the EP's first-ever application for Apple and Android tablets. The 'Box Your EP' app offers a fun way to learn about the Parliament and its activities ahead of the European elections in May. Create your own box, take a peek inside other people's boxes, read about the elections and compete with friend in a series of challenging quizzes.
The app is available in all of the EU's 24 official languages and presents a unique, fun, informative and interactive way to find out more about the Parliament.
Discover the boxes
The app is organized around boxes. Access the themed boxes to find out what the Parliament has done in areas such as family life, work or environment by reading articles taken from the Parliament website. Delve into the Eurobox for information about the European elections, different member states, current MEPs and their social media activities.
You can also create your own box, using a range of different shapes and colours, to keep track of your favourite articles. This personal box, as well as articles and other content, can be shared with others online. Finally, there are also quizzes and the possibility to earn badges.
