European Parliament Conference of Presidents authorizes Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee to draw up two reports on tax fairness in Europe
The European Parliament's Conference of Presidents meeting today (4 December) in Riga, decided to authorize Parliament's Committee on Economic and Monetary Affairs to draw up two reports on tax fairness in Europe.
Because of the complexity of the issue, Parliament's political leaders authorized the preparation of two reports: an inquiry report and a legislative one. For each of these parliamentary acts, the Economic and Monetary Affairs Committee may appoint up to two rapporteurs.
