President Tokayev addresses UN high-level event on financing for development in the era of #COVID-19

Kazakhstan's President Tokayev (pictured) spoke on behalf of the Group of Land Locked countries at a high-level event convened by UN Secretary General. President Tokayev focused on the tactics most likely to spur and sustain a global economic recovery so not to erode the progress made by developing countries. The tactics include: suspending debt re-payments to international creditors, preserving and improving the food economy, a coordinated transfer to green technologies, and to engage business in development projects. The president also spoke about Kazakhstan's contribution to the global fight against the pandemic.
