Ukraine says over 1,000 people tortured, killed in Russia-occupied areas, Interfax reports

Ukraine's parliament's human rights commission said Friday (16 September) that more than 1,000 people were tortured and murdered in Russian-occupied Kharkiv, Interfax news agency reported.
Dmytro Lubinets stated that the Ukrainian authorities would release the exact number found at the mass burial site in Izium in the next days.
