Reports of mass graves in Ukraine are 'horrifying' - White House
US White House National Security Council Coordinator for Strategic Communications John Kirby pauses to answer questions about Brittney Griner's conviction and sentencing in a Russian court. This was during a White House news briefing on 4 August, 2022 in Washington.
The White House's national security spokesperson John Kirby stated that reports of a mass grave containing more than 440 bodies found in Izium, an eastern Ukrainian city, which was captured by Russian forces were "horrifying".
