The cryptocurrency exchange platform WhiteBIT refused to comment on the article published in the Spanish media that the Ukrainian company is negotiating a cooperation with the football club "Barcelona". In particular, the news piece mentions a sponsorship agreement that would include the company's logo on the sleeve of the FC Barcelona uniform.

The editors sent a request to comment on this information. WhiteBIT’s CEO Volodymyr Nosov replied: "No comments." In fact, Nosov did not confirm, nor did he deny that his company is in the process of negotiating with one of the most titled football clubs in the world

The Spanish prolific sports media Mundo Deportivo reported that the Ukrainian cryptocurrency exchange WhiteBIT is the main contender to sign an agreement with FC Barcelona. The club is currently working intensively on an advertising agreement for the sleeve of its uniform - one of the assets that can bring FC "Barcelona" the most income.

According to the news outlet, WhiteBIT made a great offer and received permission from the club's brand department to negotiate at the highest level to sign a contract, which supposedly may be signed next week.

It was reported that the agreement with the previous sponsor, the Turkish company Beko, has ended. In its right to place its logo on the sleeve of the club’s uniform, WhiteBIT has bypassed Turkish Airlines and is currently competing with the OneFootball platform. However, according to Mundo Deportivo, the offer made by the Ukrainian cryptocurrency exchange is yet the most beneficial for the management of the Spanish football club. As you know, FC Barcelona also has sponsorship agreements with Spotify and Nike.

Earlier, WhiteBIT bought the crystal microphone trophy of the winner of "Eurovision - 2022" Kalush Orchestra for 900 thousand dollars as part of a charity auction. All funds were directed to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
