On 24th January 2025 EU Reporter re-published a guest op-ed written by Sarah Thompson, a seasoned cybersecurity analyst, in Assay News. The article made accusations against Mr Pavel Voloshin.

EU Reporter now accepts that allegations against Mr Voloshin were defamatory and apologises to Mr Voloshin, and for the unauthorised use of his image and personal data.
