Plenary opening: Bordeaux coach crash
President Schulz conveyed Parliament’s condolences to the families and friends of the 43 people who died in the 21 October coach crash near Bordeaux, and wished the survivors a speedy recovery. Most of the victims were pensioners on a day trip.
Agenda changes
The statements by EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini on the situation in Israel and Palestine and the situation in South Sudan move from Wednesday afternoon to Tuesday afternoon, after the debate on the EU budget for 2016.
The Commission statement on the Europe 2020 strategy moves from Tuesday afternoon to Wednesday evening, before the Commission statement on access to finance for SMEs.
The voting session on Thursday will start 30-45 minutes early.
