Voting for visit.brussels Awards 2015 open to public
Have you a favourite museum in Brussels? Or maybe a public building you always like to visit?
If so, the visit.brussels awards 2015 could be just for you.
These awards give people living and working in the city the chance to vote for places or initiatives that have caught the eye in the past 12 months.
Voting is available until 22 February and everyone can help to choose the three best tourism initiatives in Brussels for each category.
When the voting closes, the initiatives that have been picked will go on to the next stage: voting by a panel of judges made up of tourism professionals. The winners will be announced during the visit.brussels Awards and Networking Night on 26 March.
This year, the initiatives are divided into nine different categories with a new category, “Public Initiatives”, that will recognize an initiative by public stakeholders that has helped to raise Brussels’ profile.
For the second year running, the “Accessibility Award” category, rewarding initiatives that put the focus on improving access for people with limited mobility, is no longer a category in its own right - access for people with limited mobility has become a comprehensive selection criterion valid for all other categories.
