European elections: Events that will help you to decide
EU voters will choose the new European Parliament in four weeks' time. To raise awareness of the importance of these elections, a series of events are being organized all over the EU. The European Parliament has included some of the most important ones in its timeline.
The European Parliament and its information offices in all EU countries are organising various events to raise awareness about the forthcoming European elections. They range from a debate with candidates for the position of president of the European Commission in the Parliament on 15 May to national events that have been tailored for the member states.
In the timeline you will find the events for Ireland and the UK. For information about events in other countries, simply change the language in the top left corner of the web page to that of the country you are interested in (for example change it to French to find out about events in Belgium and France).
