Children have written the world’s longest letter, to campaign against killing dogs in Romania. Princess von Hohenzollern has at a meeting in Stuttgart presented what is called ‘The longest letter ever in the world’ written by hundreds of children against the brutal killing of stray dogs in Romania and other states.

During last weekend, the initiative of the princess was followed up by demonstrations in several European cities. The princess will now hand over the more than 1,000 metre letter to European Parliament President Martin Schulz, followed by 40 children, many of them Romanians, in an attempt to get the EU involved to stop the inhuman killing of dogs within EU countries.

At the same time, the letter will be presented to the authorities of the Guinness Book of World Records.
