Ilham Aliyev met with President of European Council in Munich
In Munich, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev had a meeting with President of the European Council Charles Michel.
The discussion focused on the progress of the normalization of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, negotiations for a peace treaty, and the Brussels peace process.
President Ilham Aliyev affirmed Azerbaijan's support for the Brussels peace process.
Charles Michel assured that the European Union would continue its efforts to normalize relations between Armenia and Azerbaijan, to reach a peace treaty, and to ensure stability and security in the South Caucasus.
Additionally, the two leaders shared their opinions on the European Union mission in Armenia.
