One dead after tropical storm Fiona hits French island of Guadeloupe

A Guadeloupe man was killed in heavy rains caused by tropical storm Fiona on Friday (16 September) night. Local authorities reported the incident on Twitter Saturday (17 September).

According to the Prefect, the man was found dead Saturday after his house was submerged in floodwaters in Basse-Terre.
