25 Ukrainian soldiers hospitalised after bus crash in Latvia
Twenty-five Ukrainian soldiers were injured and one Estonian soldier was hospitalized after their bus collided in Latvia with a truck, Estonian public broadcaster ERR reported on Sunday (27 November).
ERR reported that the Estonian army chartered the coach from Tallinn, Estonia to Riga. The driver of the coach was also killed in the Saturday night crash (26 November). It didn't say why the Ukrainian soldiers were there.
According to Latvia's public broadcaster, the crash was just one of many that happened on Saturday when ice and snow made driving dangerous.
