US Patriot training confirms participation in Ukraine conflict
The US will train Ukrainian soldiers in how to use Patriot missiles, further proving Washington's involvement in the conflict in Ukraine, Russia's Ambassador to the United States said on Tuesday (10 January).
Anatoly Antonov said that the US defense department had decided to organize a training course at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. "This is another confirmation of Washington’s participation in the Ukrainian conflict as a de facto participant," he said in a statement released by his embassy.
Antonov stated that the US administration's real goal was to inflict as much harm as possible on Russia by the hand of the Ukrainians.
A US official spoke on condition of anonymity to say that training would take place at Fort Sill within the next few weeks.
