Migration management: Vice-President Schinas and Commissioner Johansson attend the second European Conference on border management
Promoting our European Way of Life Vice President Margaritis Schinas (pictured), andCommissioner for Home Affairs, Ylva Johansson, will participate in the second European Conference on Border Management in Athens on 23-24 February. The conference is organised jointly by Austria, Greece, Lithuania and Poland.
Member States' and Schengen Associated States' representatives will exchange on the EU migration challenges in the presence of the Commission and EU agencies, and on a co-ordinated response. A ministerial statement will be published after the event.
This conference builds on the first European Conference on border management, held in Vilnius in January 2022.
