1.5 million visitors and counting: #Parlamentarium celebrates fifth anniversary
Parlamentarium, the Parliament’s visitors centre, has proved to be one of Brussels' most popular attractions since opening. Its permanent exhibition shows Parliament's work and explains the history of European integration in 24 languages. On Thursday 13 October it celebrates its fifth anniversary. If you are in Brussels that day, don't miss the chance to join the celebration from 17-22h CET.
Already more than 1.5 million people have visited Parlamentarium and it ranks among Brussels' top attractions on Trip Advisor.
On 13 October, the Parlamentarium will be open until 22h as it takes parts in the Brussels Museums Night. Different activities will be on offer from 17h, ranging from music to muffins, a special photo booth and a drink for every visitor.
Photo competition
To celebrate the fifth anniversay of Parlamentarium, Parliament is organizing the #ThisIsMy5 photo contest. For the next three months our followers on Instagram will be asked to send pictures on various topics inspired by the number five, for example your five favourite memories. The five winners will be invited to the Museum Night Fever event at the Parliamentarium on 11 March 2017.
