Ever wondered what the Parliament looks like from inside? It's now possible to visit our building from the comfort of your own home using your smartphone thanks to virtual reality technology. In our first ever VR video you will be greeted by Parliament’s Facebook followers and President Martin Schulz and be shown around the plenary chamber.
You can find the video on YouTube and on Facebook. Simply press play and view the Parliament in 360 degrees by moving your smartphone.
You could also make use of a Google Cardboard for the viewing experience. This is a simple cardboard tool with a pair of 40 mm focal distance lenses that you are able to build yourself (click on the links on the right for more information.
If you have the YouTube app installed on your smartphone, you can press the cardboard sign to put your phone in virtual reality mode. You can then place it in the cardboard to enjoy the full experience.
