Visa-free travel to Europe and financial aid are just two recent examples of the European Parliament’s continued support of Ukraine.
MEPs have approved a €1 billion worth of aid in the form of loans to Ukraine to help it cover its external financing needs in 2018-2019. The aid is conditional on the country continuing with reforms, respecting the rule of law and human rights, and progressing in the fight against corruption.
