EP this week MEPs have another busy week ahead of them

New priorities for the European Solidarity Corps, Erasmus+ Brexit measures and digital challenges will be on Parliament's agenda this week.

On Monday (4 February), Parliament's culture and education committee voted on the budget and new priorities for the European Solidarity Corps' programme for 2021-2027. The priorities include humanitarian aid activities outside the EU and aim to ensure that at least 350,000 young Europeans will be able to offer support to communities in need through volunteering, traineeships and job placements.

Also on Monday, the committee discussed contingency measures to ensure that people doing Erasmus+ are not adversely affected in the event of a no-deal Brexit.

A conference on the digital single market will look at how EU legislation and funding has helped and what challenges remain. Follow the conference live online on Tuesday and Wednesday.
