Police notice – Most wanted: Wilhelmus BECKMANN
At the request of the Public Prosecutor's Office of Antwerp, the police issues the following notice: The Antwerp Public Prosecutor's Office and the police are looking for the fugitive Wilhelmus BECKMANN (pictured), born in 1958.
Wilhelmus Beckmann was convicted by the court of assizes in Antwerp for murder and intentional arson on 18 January, 2024.
Beckmann murdered his girlfriend and then staged a violent robbery. To cover up the body and the gunshot wounds, he tried to set fire to the villa where he was staying.
The crime was committed in the city of Merksplas in 2008.
