Letter from the President of Bangladesh

Your Majesty,

On the occasion of the National Day of the Kingdom of Belgium (21 July), on behalf of the people of Bangladesh and on my own behalf, I have the honour to convey to Your Majesty, and through Your Majesty to the people of Belgium, my sincere congratulations and good wishes for your personal well-being and prosperity for the people of Belgium.

2022 is a special year for both our countries as we mark 50 years of Belgium – Bangladesh relations. This momentous occasion offers me yet another opportunity to reaffirm our commitment to continue working closely with you in further consolidating and strengthening the ties of cooperation, friendship and partnership between the Kingdom of Belgium and the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

I look forward to the continued nurturing of our friendly relations and broadening cooperation in the coming days for the common benefit of our two peoples.
