#EESC takes a stand on Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 at European Parliament's Committee on Budgets
EESC member Javier Doz Orrit, rapporteur for the EESC umbrella opinion on the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 for the European Union, will set out the main recommendations of the EESC for the next EU budget at a meeting of the Committee on Budgets of the European Parliament, on 9 October, at around 11h.
The rapporteur's intervention will be part of a debate on the "Interim report on the Multiannual Financial Framework 2021-2027 – Parliament's position with a view to an agreement", which is scheduled as the first subject on the meeting's agenda. MEPs Jan Olbrycht (PPE), Isabelle Thomas (S&D), Janusz Lewandowski (PPE) and Gérard Deprez (ALDE), rapporteurs for the interim report, will participate in the debate amongst others.
