No longer good enough to limit Ukraine support to defensive weapons
"For too long there was a false distinction among offensive and defensive weapons. Some used it as an excuse to drag their feet. Truss stated Tuesday that the time had passed.
Although Britain initially restricted its weapons supply to defensive categories, it has spoken out about expanding its arms supply and using its military vehicle inventory to allow other countries such as Poland to provide tanks directly to Ukraine.
Germany announced earlier that it had delivered heavy weapons to Ukraine for the first time.
