June 2014 compared with May 2014: Production in construction down by 0.7% in eurozone, down by 0.3% in EU-28
In June 2014 compared with May 2014, seasonally adjusted production in the construction sector fell by 0.7% in the eurozone (EA-18) and by 0.3% in the EU28, according to first estimates from Eurostat, the statistical office of the European Union. In May 2014, production in construction fell by 1.4% in both zones. In June 2014 compared with June 2013, production in construction fell by 2.3% in the eurozone and by 0.5% in the EU-28.
