MEPs to debate violence in the Gaza Strip and insurgency in Iraq

wpid-isis-images-061514-2MEPs will debate the current escalation of violence between Israeli and Palestinian forces in the Gaza Strip with the Italian Presidency on Wednesday afternoon (16 July). This debate will be preceded by a discussion on the fighting between Iraqi government forces and Sunni rebels, which has resulted in the deaths of thousands and the displacement of hundreds of thousands more.

The House will vote on two separate resolutions on Thursday.
