The online language learning platform italki compared metrics from 50 European cities to achieve a final ranking. They analysed the number of landmarks, the average rating of the landmark, the safety score, and the average temperature in the summer.

Galway, Ireland, ranks as the eighth best-hidden gem in Europe with the best landmarks. Known for its stunning cathedral, historic Eyre Square, and picturesque Spanish Arch, the city offers a rich history to explore. The city has an average rating of 4.24/5 for its iconic landmarks.
Cork, Ireland, is also named within the ranking at joint ninth place with Český Krumlov. Cork’s landmarks, such as the Cork City Caol and Saint Fin Barre’s Cathedral, are breathtaking and have an average rating of 4.23/5.
