Bank-Of-EnglandRepresentatives of ING Group (NL), Crédit Agricole (FR), Nordea (SW), Santander (ES), UBS (CH), and Unicredit (IT) will meet members of the Special Committee on Tax Rulings (TAXE II) on Monday afternoon to discuss how their banks provide companies with advice and structured financial products for “tax optimization” purposes.

The meetings take place as international organizations prepare major initiatives to tackle aggressive corporate tax planning. These include the European Commission's recent Anti Tax Avoidance Package, the anticipated re-launch of the Common Consolidated Corporate Tax Base (CCCTB) proposals and the OECD's Base Erosion and Profit Shifting (BEPS) Action Plan.

The meeting takes place in the Jozsef Antall (JAN) building, Room 4Q1. Here’s the agenda.

You can watch the committee meeting live via EP LIVE: Monday 21 March from 15.00.
