Road to growth: Boosting the economy in crisis-hit countries
A European Parliament event on how to boost growth in the EU, especially in member states that have been affected the most by the crisis, takes place in Athens on Monday 4 November from 9h to 16h CET. European Parliament President Martin Schulz will be the keynote speaker at the South for Growth event, organised by the European Parliament information offices in Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Ireland, Portugal and Spain.
South for Growth aims to encourage debate on how growth can be stimulated in view of the 2014 European elections.The event is open to the media and the general public. You can participate in the debate on Twitter by using the hashtag #south4growth.
